I went to the fair yesterday and distributed literature and bumper stickers to other non-profits and generally tried to spread my word around.  My favorite quote of the day was:

Republican: “This seems like something pretty liberal…I think the democrats could get behind this”

Me: “You mean human rights? That’s a partisan thing?”

Republican: “…..Yeah…….. well sometimes”

(That being said we have a lot of support from all kinds of republicans and conservatives which we very much appreciate- especially as it demonstrates that this is not a partisan thing)

Anywho- I should be getting a lot of emails back today from businesses and council people as I sent a lot out last Friday afternoon.  As always I’ll keep you posted.
